Ich bin Konstantin Bofirow BOFI, Fotograf aus Leidenschaft. Seit über zwanzig Jahren bewege ich mich zwischen Licht und Schatten, zwischen Ruhe und Bewegung – immer auf der Suche nach dem Moment, in dem alles stimmt. Meine Arbeit lebt von Intuition, Stimmung und Authentizität. Ob Food, Still Life, Portrait oder Fashion – jedes Motiv erzählt für mich eine eigene kleine Geschichte. Ich liebe es, diese Geschichten sichtbar zu machen: durch Farben, Texturen, Formen und das feine Zusammenspiel von Natürlichkeit und Inszenierung. Ich arbeite sowohl digital als auch analog, denn die Filmfotografie besitzt für mich eine besondere Tiefe und Ehrlichkeit, die das Digitale manchmal nur andeutet. Neben der Fotografie entstehen auch kurze Videofilme, in denen Bewegung und Klang neue Dimensionen meiner Bildsprache eröffnen. Heute lebe und arbeite ich in Hamburg und im Norden Deutschlands – inspiriert von der klaren Luft, dem wechselnden Licht und der Ruhe des Nordens. Hier finde ich die Balance zwischen Präzision und Gefühl, zwischen Handwerk und Emotion.
Für mich ist Fotografie kein Abbild, sondern ein Dialog – zwischen dem, was ist, und dem, was man spürt.
I am Konstantin Bofirow Bofi, a photographer by passion. For over twenty years, I have moved between light and shadow, between stillness and motion – always in search of the moment when everything falls into place. My work thrives on intuition, atmosphere, and authenticity. Whether it’s food, still life, portrait, or fashion, each subject tells its own little story to me. I love making these stories visible through colors, textures, shapes, and the subtle interplay of naturalness and staging. I work both digitally and analog, as film photography holds a special depth and honesty for me that digital sometimes only hints at. In addition to photography, I also create short video pieces in which movement and sound open new dimensions of my visual language. Today, I live and work in Hamburg and northern Germany – inspired by the clear air, the shifting light, and the tranquility of the North. Here, I find balance between precision and emotion, between craft and feeling.
For me, photography is not a depiction but a dialogue – between what is and what is felt.
